GREEN BUILDING EXPO 2014
The Region’s Biggest Exhibition for Sustainable Solutions in the Built Environment
Green Building Expo (GBE2014) launches at an exciting time in Qatar’s development as one of the leading cities in the Gulf. The exhibition and conferences are dedicated to the promotion of green and sustainability technologies and solutions to the building and construction industry in Qatar. The event is expected to attract widespread interest, bringing together developers, construction companies, specifiers and investors – making the show Qatar's leading event dedicated to green building and sustainability.
GBE2014 is hosted by the Gulf Organization for Research & Development
(GORD), an organisation that is working to establish Qatar as the Gulf’s ‘Capital of Green’ and that has been instrumental in developing the Qatar Sustainability Assessment System (QSAS). QSAS has recently been renamed the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) and is rapidly becoming the de facto assessment system for green building in the region.
The event will feature four must-attend events in one show:
- International Sustainability Build Environment Conference
- Sustainability Practices Forum
- Green Building Exhibition
- Sustainability Awards Ceremony
