Standard energy-saving: zero impact from 2020

The text was approved by the European and the United States will have to modify their building regulations.

All new buildings, starting from the end of 2020, shall certify high standards of energy efficiency.

The legislation approved by MEPs states that all buildings constructed after December 31, 2020 are close to the classification "zero-energy", ie comply with high standards of efficiency by responding to needs through the 'massive' use of renewable energy.

Overview of the features and materials for green building

The green building (ie the construction of houses so-called "green", made with only natural materials), is an area undergoing expansion, which in a few years is expected to carve out its important share in the Italian real estate market, as it is already happened in the United States and especially in the countries of Northern Europe.

Features and benefits of a house designed according to the rules of green building:

A house built following the dictates of green building is characterized by several aspects: the fact of being the only real alternative to housing classical reinforced concrete, that the timing of realization are rapid, that the structure is highly insulated, earthquake-proof, sound-insulated and anti-radon (ie free from emission of radioactive gases).

Construction market: predictions for the future

What future for the construction industry in Italy? The laws enacted by governments will really be a stimulus to boost investment in the sector?

Despite the announcements of the Government intends to regain momentum in the construction market with the "plan" and with the relaunch of the "objective law", digging if necessary also the market of concessions and other works of undoubted construction site feasibility, the 2008 was not certainly an easy year for the sector in the last quarter bore the brunt of the crisis of international markets. If the previous term - end prematurely - will be remembered for '"sloth" with which he addressed the issue of infrastructure, scaling down the list of the 228 works unrealistic strategic put on track with the "objective law" and revoking the licenses of high speed the early 90s, the current one continues to leverage (at least the media) on the revitalization of the economy through the strengthening of the infrastructure. Riding on the principle that is so dear to the Keynesian economists extraction in which when consumption does not "pull" the policy maker should encourage investment in fixed capital because, being at the same time that capital is labor intensive (even with a certain amount of public spending ) create employment and income, and consequently stimulate the recovery in consumption.

Work place safety: standards and prevention

The chemical risk in a document on the evaluation and risks in building construction. The legislation, the risks to health and safety, hazard identification, risk assessment, the proposed models and operating documents attached.

To proceed in the risk assessment is necessary, first of all, "to identify the hazards of chemical origin (for hazard is the intrinsic property of a chemical agent with the potential to cause harm)." This identification "is the first stage of the evaluation and can be done by filling in the appropriate sheets summarizing, when you need to restore the data taken from the labeling and safety data sheet of the products used (substances or preparations) and other data necessary , if available, to complete the picture of the information necessary to assess the risk. " The tabs must, however, be repeated "information concerning chemical agents 'unlabelled', which may arise from working or that are present in the work environment."

How to evaluate the safety of a house

In buildings there are various types of facilities: electricity, heating, water, gas and air conditioning. Facility which, for various reasons, in some cases can be a source of serious accidents. Furthermore, Italy is known, is a seismic country, and therefore subject to earthquakes. This means that the buildings, and thus also our homes, can also be damaged seriously by events of a certain magnitude. How do you recognize the signs of potential dangers?

The National Council of Architects has prepared a quick reference guide, clear and concise manner that makes us able to clearly assess the level of security of our premises and, if necessary, run for cover. The following is the introduction of the guide "Building security":
